NEC is part of DGN GROUP the local governments partner of choice in the manufacturing, warehousing and distribution of sustainable products (Biopower gel; BioKleenz; Solar Power Kits) with a strong focus on circular economy principles.
Founded by Mr. Gerald Naicker in 2009, our founding values have always been fostered on playing an active and responsible role in our community, by manufacturing and providing: socially beneficial, sustainable and commercially viable products and services which add value to our people.
The covid 19 pandemic had forced us to relook at our core markets and revaluate our business models. This was necessary to ensure the survival and longevity of NEC into the foreseeable future.
NEC changed its strategy and entered into the warehousing and logistics space. To this end we are proud to say that we now have multiple warehousing and logistics facilities in KZN. Our transport depot is based in Umbogintwini ( AECI Industrial Complex) The site is declared a national key point and security is paramount.
In order to meet customer reliability and satisfaction with on time, in full deliveries we believe resourcing plays a huge role. Accordingly, we have fully trained technicians on standby to deal with unexpected breakdowns. All our Heavy Vehicle Operators and Vehicles are Hazchem compliant. In-cab cameras and tracking devices are standard requirements in all our vehicles.
